What is your role at Enanta?
I’m a Senior Executive Assistant and Investor Relations Associate.
Why did you join Enanta?
I joined Enanta because I wanted to join a company that was small and where there was room for growth and to wear many hats.
How did you get into your specific field?
I started my career in marketing and event planning and later transitioned to an Executive Assistant and Investor Relations Associate. I enjoy working on multiple projects and performing the various duties and responsibilities that come with the role, which keeps me engaged and motivated.
What do you think is the most important challenge for the Biopharmaceutical Industry?
The increasing cost of developing new drugs and the pressure to deliver results quickly.
What would be the one word to describe the team at Enanta?
Collaborative.
What is the best career advice you got when starting out?
Be open minded to every opportunity that comes your way.
What did you like to do when you were young that you wish you could do more as an adult?
Playing tennis!
What do you do for fun when you’re not at work?
I love running half marathons. I enjoy the training leading up to the race, the excitement of race day and the feeling of accomplishment when I (hopefully!) finish. I also enjoy cheering on my daughter and son at their softball and soccer games.
